Vacationing in Piémanson, France’s Last Wild Beach






















Piémanson, South of France, end of April. Camping vans come one after the other, parking on the vast, empty, wild beach. Families get out of the vans, and start building improvised huts which will serve as their temporary homes for the next few months: in fact, these people are not here for a week-long vacation—they will spend the whole summer in Piémanson.
