Remember the French film Amélie? How Amélie’s father received photographs of his garden gnome posing in front of several famous landmarks from around the world?
Photographer Alessandro Puccinelli‘s series A Van in the Sea looks something like that, except that instead of a garden gnome, the images feature a motorhome Hymer 1983, and instead of the world’s top tourist attractions, the van is parked on the wonderful beaches of Southern Portugal, under beautiful, star-spangled night skies.
